Role: Senior Analyst, Third-Party Risk Management
Location: Hybrid role in NYC
Duration: 12-month contract
Pay Rate: Up to $52/hr W2 (Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, LTD Insurance)
Join our client's high-impact team dedicated to overseeing and mitigating risks associated with third-party and inter-affiliate relationships within a global financial services environment. As a Senior Analyst, Third-Party Risk Management, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring supplier-level risk assessments, compliance with regulatory frameworks, and the successful implementation of third-party risk management policies.
What You’ll Do:
- Policy Implementation: Lead the application of third-party risk management policies and alternative control frameworks across market operations.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations of suppliers, partnering closely with business activity owners and internal teams to ensure compliance and mitigate exposure.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including enterprise third-party management teams and operational risk partners.
- Issue Management: Identify, track, and escalate risks or issues requiring resolution, ensuring proactive remediation strategies.
- Program Oversight: Ensure accurate and timely risk assessments while maintaining centralized inventory records of all third-party relationships.
- Governance Reporting: Prepare and present governance updates, highlighting progress, identifying key issues, and ensuring alignment with program objectives.
- Training & Awareness: Promote program awareness by developing and delivering training initiatives for business units.
What You Bring:
- Expertise in Third-Party Risk: 3–10 years of experience managing third-party risks within financial services, including knowledge of inter-dealer brokers, financial market infrastructure, and commodity suppliers.
- Project Management Skills: At least 5 years of experience in project management, process improvement, and governance within regulated, complex environments.
- Analytical Acumen: Proven ability to evaluate and enhance risk management frameworks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to effectively influence stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional alignment.
- Organizational Excellence: Skilled at managing priorities, meeting deadlines, and delivering results in dynamic settings.
- Innovation-driven: Energetic and forward-thinking, with a track record of introducing innovative risk management strategies and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, ACCA, CISA) are a plus.
